The ultimate objective of interfaith dialogue is to cultivate mutual understanding and tolerance, leading to united efforts for the betterment of humanity without compromising the identity of any culture or religion. Religions, including Islam, have universalized values that serve as common ground for dialogue. In Islam, peace is considered a core tenet and followers are encouraged to engage in peaceful negotiations to resolve conflicts and establish peace in society.

The Holy Quran, a cornerstone of Islam, emphasizes the importance of interfaith dialogue and peace. It calls for constructive dialogue between individuals of different faiths based on shared values and righteousness. The Quran teaches the eternal principles of respect, honesty, justice, and equality, which are the foundation for peace and tranquility in the world. It lays the foundation for interfaith dialogue and advocates for religious dialogue through verses such as

“Say, O, Mohammad! O, people, Come to a word that is common between us and you”. (The Noble Quran 2:256).
